Two Hells

Two Kinds of Hell

There are two types of hell down here.  One type is for devils and it is descriptive of the kinds of curses Father reserved as their punishment for rebellion in Heaven.  The second hell is the various tortures and indignities heaped upon men as a result of living in the prison environment that holds devils.  To see this you must consider a few KEY SCRIPTURES.

Isaiah 14:9. Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. 12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 15.  Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Revelation 12:7. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Jude 1:6. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 16. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

Using the analogy of ancient Egypt, the land of Goshen, where the Hebrews were assigned to live, was part of the land of Egypt.  It refers to the land mass of the earth.  When you consider that the Bible refers to Egypt as a land of bondage, it describes what devils do to all human beings on the planet Earth.  Devils fall in endless circles through all that is solid matter for men, and they can break their fall only when they fall into the bodies of men and animals.  They grab on, hold tightly, and thus escape from falling through the pit.

Hell for Humans

Hell is a place of torture and torment.  Men do not think of this life as hell.  That is because the most vicious and brutal experiences are not shared by men to the same degree.  For men invisible pit-prisoners grab men and claim their bodies as “my house” as fast as men are born into this world.

Revelation 12:1.  And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2.  And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3.  And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4.  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Matthew 12:43. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Devils use the bodies of men as houses, horses for battle, weapons of destruction, seats, and thrones from which they rule over other men.  They can speak directly through the mouths of men like a ventriloquist and humans are unaware that devils are doing this.

Matthew 16:22.  Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23.  But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Luke 9:53. And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54. And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55. But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

Devils spoke to Jesus directly through the mouths of those in the crowds that followed him.

Mark 9:1. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Mark 1:23. And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, 24. Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. 25. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

Devils use men they possess and control in many evil works. Here are some of the things men experience in “hell for mankind”:

Raping women in warfare as it is happening in Libya today is torture.  It is called a war crime by the UN.  Murder of the innocent by treacherous dictators, when the people petition for a better life and freedom from oppression is also grievous abuse.  Imprisonment of protesters and torturing them is also terrible treatment of men.  Cannibalism has been used by devils in their management of man’s inhumanity to man.  Starvation of masses, and death by extreme poverty and disease are also means devils use against us while they make the wealthy horde their money and share very little to help the poor.  We all know what Hitler did to the Jews in the death camps and the genocide that happened in the Balkan wars and in Rwanda and the Sudan.  Men have been ravaged by bubonic plague, malaria, and HIV aids.  Beside that devils cause human slave traffic, sex slave traffic, and child-labor abuse.  On the personal level sometimes men get guns and kill other people for various sick reasons, because they are personally troubled by their own demons.  Mad bombers will detonate bombs where many people congregate to kill them for political reasons.  In wars many innocent people are killed by collateral damage because there is no such thing as a clean war.  Men are suffering all kinds of anti-life and anti-peace experiences because we are in the same place with devils, their prison-hold of hell. Innocent men have been imprisoned and even killed by human judicial systems because of false witnesses and circumstantial evidence.  Men are imperfect and prone to errors in judgment.  Some have also been executed and killed when they are really innocent.  Today DNA testing is helping to undo some injustices inflicted by our courts and juries. Also tornadoes, floods, tsunamis, fires, earthquakes and other natural disasters ravage entire nations and vast swaths of communities.  Man cannot prevent these events.  Homes and lives are taken, families broken up, and communities suffer.  Some may go through a whole lifetime in the US and experience very little of these things.  But collectively you can see that life for mankind is truly hell.

Only men (wheat) are removed from hell, not demonic tares

Matthew 13:27. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28. He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29. But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Psalm 139:7. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8. If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

Psalm 16:9. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. 10. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 11. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

2 Esdras 2:26 Of my servants whom I have given you not one shall be lost; I will demand 27 them back from among your number. Do not be anxious when the time of trouble and hardship comes; others shall lament and be sad, but you shall 28 have happiness and plenty. All nations shall envy you, but shall be powerless against you, says the Lord. 29, 30 'My power shall protect you, and save your sons from hell. Be joyful, 31 mother, you and your sons, for I will come to your rescue. 

Psalm 86:13.  For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

Hell for devils

Some of you might have read Dante’s Inferno and you might recall his descriptions of what he saw in certain levels of hell.  That was fiction, but it has a basis in fact.  When God cast down Lucifer, Babylon, and their angels (children) from Heaven, He did not allow them to set foot on earth.  It is not solid ground for them.  They pass right through it as if it was a hologram or a mirage.

Isaiah 14:12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 21. Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

Revelation 12:15. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. (In this case the “waters” are many devils, Revelation 17:15.  Devils holding on men “fall out” when men die).

Isaiah 8:21. And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

Devils have no clothes, no food, nor water, but they are hungry and thirsty. They want rest but they get none unless they can grab onto a man or animal.  As they fall, they spend a lot of time in the mantle and core of the earth.  There they pass through the red hot molten lava, the molten iron core, caves and rocks in the mantle, and underground rivers and aquifers.  They may fall out of that into the ocean where the fortunate ones may fall into a fish, a shark, or other sea-life.  They may fall through the air for a while and maybe fall back again through the land.  They can find a certain degree of peace if they can break their fall.

Dante’s Inferno metaphorically mixes what happens both to men and devils in an imaginary hell.  The various tortures humans experience happen in our life in this world sporadically and in distant places so that many think that this life is “normal”.  When you see what man experiences COLLECTIVELY, you can see that man does undergo hell on earth in “normal” life. Many Christians and ministers do not know what hell really is.  They think men can “die and go to hell” when we are already in it every day of our earthly lives.  Just as Goshen was a part of Egypt, this earth is in the middle of hell, Satan’s pit-prison.

So there you have it.  There are two kinds of hell, (1) the kinds of torture and enslavement devils do to men they claim as “my house”, and (2) the curse conditions God put on devils falling through the pit.  All that fire Dante described is found in the earth’s mantle and core. And devils have been through it all!
