Would a God of Love and Mercy Do that to His Children?

Would a God of Love and Mercy Do that to His Children?

HEADLINE: 2 Esdras 7:1 When I had finished speaking, the same angel was sent to me as on the 2 previous nights. He said to me, 'Rise to your feet, Ezra, and listen to the 3 message I have come to give you.' 'Speak, my lord', I said. He said to me: 'Imagine a sea set in a vast open space, spreading far 4 5 and wide, but the entrance to it narrow like the gorge of a river. If anyone is determined to reach this sea, whether to set eyes on it or to gain command of it, he cannot arrive at its open waters except through the narrow gorge 6 Or again, imagine a city built in a plain, a city full of everything you can 7 desire, but the entrance to it narrow and steep, with fire to the right and 8 deep water to the left. There is only the one path, between the fire and the 9 water; and that is only wide enough for one man at a time. If some man has been given this city as a legacy, how can he take possession of his inheritance 10 except by passing through these dangerous approaches?' 'That is the only way, my lord', I agreed. 11 He said to me: 'Such is the lot of Israel. It was for Israel that I made the world, and when Adam transgressed my decrees the creation came under 12 judgement. The entrances to this world (STEP-ONE) were made narrow, painful, and 13 arduous, few and evil, full of perils and grinding hardship. But the entrances 14 to the greater world (STEP-TWO, Paradise) are broad and safe, and lead to immortality. All men must therefore enter this narrow and futile existence; otherwise they can 15 never attain the blessings in store.

There is a lot of IGNORANCE in men about God and what He is doing with His creations.  Devils are keen to take advantage of their “short” understanding to get them to agree to slander God, blaspheme Him, take His name in vain, or even to curse Him in a fit of rage.  Sometimes when God REDEEMS a loved one suddenly (causes his death), some of the members of his immediate family are vulnerable to demonic suggestions that one should “curse God” to get back at Him for His actions.  Some men are told that “a LOVING GOD would not make His child suffer brutally, but He will aid and rescue His children”. Since God does not do that all the time, devils lead men to conclude that “God is dead” and “there is no God” and men are on their own.  Weak men with little faith have what remains of their faith stripped away by that kind of demonic reasoning.  We can see this in the classic account of God and the devil vying over the status of Job.  Every kind of disastrous thing the devils thought would do the most damage to harm Job and give God a black eye was sought and performed against Job and his family.  At one low point, Job’s wife suggested that he should, “Curse God and die”.  Job responded saying, “You talk like a foolish woman”!

IGNORANCE of God is a terrible blot in the minds of men who seek God and want to understand what is going on with mankind.  Since we are all God’s children and we are challenged in the same way by devils as experienced by Adam and Eve, we should expect dichotomies and dilemmas in our own personal trials as devils WAR against us.  When Adam and Eve failed in the Garden of Eden, God told us that we (their seed) would be put on trial by “the seed of the serpent” or demons.

Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

All men are born into STEP-ONE in darkness and IGNORANCE of the joust they are instantly part of just because they are sons and daughters of God.  The enemy is invisible to human eyes and they ride our bodies and use us like we use horses.  They sit on and in our body cavities and men become “their houses” and weapons for warfare doing “man’s inhumanity to man” in all kinds of abusive scenarios.

Matthew 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

Habakkuk 1:4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

General Epistle of Barnabas, Chapter 14

Of the way of light, a summary of what a Christian is to do, that he may be happy forever.

14:3. Let us now go on to the other kind of knowledge and doctrine. There are two ways of doctrine and power: the one of light, the other of darkness. 4. But there is a great deal of difference between these two ways; for over one are appointed the angels of God, the leaders of the way of light; over the other, the angels of Satan. And the one is the Lord from everlasting to everlasting; the other is the prince of the time of unrighteousness. 5. Now the way of light is this: if any one desires to attain to the place that is appointed for him, he will hasten there by his works. And the knowledge that has been given to us for walking in it, is to this effect: You must love him that made you; you must glorify him that has redeemed you from death. 6. You must be simple in heart, and rich in the spirit. You must not unite to those that walk in the way of death. You must hate to do anything that is not pleasing to God. You must abhor all dissimulation. You must not neglect any of the commands of the Lord. 7. You must not exalt yourself, but must be humble. You must not take honor to yourself. You must not enter into any wicked counsel against your neighbor. You must not be over- confident in your heart. 8. You must not commit fornication nor adultery. Neither must you corrupt yourself with mankind. You must not make use of the word of God to any impurity. 9. You must not accept any man's person, when you reprove anyone's faults. You must be gentle. You must be quiet. You must tremble at the words which you have heard. You must not keep any hatred in your heart against your brother. You must not entertain any doubt whether it will be or not. 10. You must not take the name of the Lord in vain. You must love your neighbor above your own soul. 11. You must not destroy your conceptions before they are brought forth, nor kill them after they are born. 12. You must not withdraw your hand from your son, or from your daughter, but will teach them from their youth the fear of the Lord. 13. You must not covet your neighbor's goods, neither must you be greedy. Neither must your heart be joined to proud men, but you must be counted among the righteous and the lowly. Whatever events will happen to you, you must receive them as good. 14. You must not be double-minded, or double-tongued, for a double tongue is the snare of death. You must be subject in fear and reverence to the Lord, and to inferior masters as to the representatives of God. 15. You must not be bitter when ordering any of your servants who trust in God, for fear that you may not fear him who is over both; because he came not to call any with respect of persons, but whomever the Spirit had prepared. 16. You must communicate to your neighbor of all you have; you must not call anything your own, for if you share in such things as are incorruptible, how much more should you do it in those that are corruptible? 17. You must not be too eager to speak, for the mouth is the trap of death. Strive for your soul with all your might. Do not reach out your hand to receive, and then withhold it when you should give. 18. You must love, as the apple of your eye, everyone that speaks to you the word of the Lord. Call to your remembrance, day and night, the future judgment. 19. You must seek out every day the persons of the righteous, and both consider and go about to exhort others by the word, and meditate how you may save a soul. 20. You must also labor with your hands to give to the poor, so that your sins may be forgiven you. You must not deliberate whether you should give, nor, having given, complain about it. 21. Give to every one that asks, so will you know who is the good rewarder of your gifts. 22. Keep what you have received; you must neither add to it nor take from it. 23. Let the wicked be always your aversion. You must judge righteous judgment. You must never cause divisions, but make peace between those that are at variance, and bring them together. 24. You must confess your sins and not come to your prayer with an evil conscience. 25. This is the way of light.

General Epistle of Barnabas, Chapter 15
Of the way of darkness, that is, what kind of persons will forever be cast out of the kingdom of God.
15:1. But the way of darkness is crooked and full of cursing. For it is the way of eternal death, with punishment, in which those that walk will meet those things that destroy their own souls. 2. Such are: idolatry, confidence, pride of power, hypocrisy, double-mindedness, adultery, murder, pillage, pride, transgression, deceit, malice, arrogance, witchcraft, covetousness, and the lack of the fear of God. 3. In this walk those who are the persecutors of them that are good, the haters of truth and lovers of lies, who do not know the reward of righteousness, nor adhere to any thing that is good. 4. Who administer not righteous judgment to the widow and orphan; who examine wickedness, and not the fear of the Lord; 5. From whom gentleness and patience are afar off; who love vanity, and follow after rewards; who have no compassion upon the poor, nor take any pains for those who are burdened and oppressed. 6. They readily speak evil, not knowing him that made them; they are murderers of children, corrupters of the creatures of God; they turn away from the needy and oppress the afflicted; they are advocates of the rich, but unjust judges of the poor; they are altogether sinners.

Most human beings on earth DO NOT KNOW these things and they are very vulnerable to demonic use and abuse by not knowing.  But even so, men have always wondered and complained about what is happening to us.  They have asked among themselves, “What is this life all about, if all we do is suffer in darkness and then die”?  “Is this fair”, men ask?  Men desiring answers go to clerics and religions of every kind seeking answers to these questions and solace about our plight.  But the religions have also gendered more questions and fewer satisfactory answers as they fight one another and vie for money from their members.  This is so bad that some people have abandoned the churches and reject them.  Men simply cannot be trusted when money is involved.

Our HEADLINE tells us what men have strived to know, “What is Creator-God doing”?  Even Solomon sought the answer as he pondered everything.

Ecclesiastes 1:13 And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

God is the FIRST SCIENTIST.  Men simply do not consider this about God’s character!  From our HEADLINE we learn that Father PLANNED a TWO-STEP agenda in TWO PLACES as He applies the “scientific method” to test His products (children).  Devils will supply the NEGATIVE EVIL to highlight strengths, weaknesses, flaws and our breaking-points inside their prison chamber.  This happens on a stage created for testing purposes.  Of course that stage is called the planet Earth.  Each child is given a specific set of days to face demons on earth.  When his timer (human heart) expires, Father then draws up His spirit son or daughter to Paradise, where He dons His “Clay Master” hat and RE-MAKES His children after FIXING all flaws, breaks and blemishes.  Therefore STEP-TWO in Heaven is called PERFECTION where all the REDEEMED from earth below are “MADE PERFECT”.

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Romans 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Romans 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Christians know that we are on earth and face trials by an invisible spirit-opponent.  We know that this trial is a WAR between the forces of God (good) and the powers of darkness, evil spirits hanging on our bodies.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We are not in this fight alone.  God has given each human incarnation a set of “good angles” to be his guardians, leaders, and teachers.  They also are invisible to us and they present as “our conscience”.  Men who do not follow the good instructions from their conscience get into more and more trouble and it becomes hard to extract them from it.  We have to learn to discern between the voices we hear in our heads.  Good angels do not give us bad instructions that lead us into harm, evil, and punishment.  A man’s personal “crown of thorns” (demons on his head) give him wicked instruction and show him ways to perform evil deeds and get away with it.  A man’s “crown of life” (good angels in charge of us) fight those instructions and worry men to make them avoid wicked behavior.

Psalms 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

It is the devil's job to make us show our strengths as well as our weaknesses.  Jesus did not tell us that if we obey him everything will be fine in this life.  Instead he told us that we also must “take up our cross of suffering” from warfare with devils on us and our fellowman.  Our own personal family members will persecute us when and if their devils turn them against us.  We know the cross means death.  So we must struggle against our enemy all the days of our lives until Jesus calls our God-given TRUE NAME on our last day.  Then we fly away to Paradise and "life more abundantly".

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

A more enlightened understanding of Scientist-God and what He intends for us in STEP-ONE should end our susceptibility to demonic slandering of God as devils try to turn IGNORANT men against Him.  You have the means to answer such a question from men as in our document title.  You may also comfort men about our present situation in this life!
