Although I disagree with some of the suggestive lyrics in this song, it carries an important truth, “only the good die young”.  Without further adieu check this out.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was VERY GOOD. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

You will observe that the Creator said of His creations that they were not just good, but He qualified it saying it was “VERY GOOD”!  The crown jewel of the creation is  MANKIND, and Father is thrilled with His success at creating a FAMILY for Mother Wisdom.  However, the PLAN calls for all the children to experience the NEGATIVE “EXERCISE” facing devils in the bottomless pit.  A stage called the planet Earth was made for that purpose.  In STEP ONE, devils will expose the strengths, weaknesses, flaws, and breaking-points in the new products.  Each child gets a designated number of days to face-off with the negative tools (demons).  When each child’s time expires, He will be removed for STEP TWO called “perfection”.  There in Paradise the children are RE-MADE by Potter-God, all flaws and imperfections are removed and they become holy and righteous children.  You will see exactly how and why ONLY THE GOOD FLY YOUNG!

Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise

So you thought devils and sin could REVERSE GOD, who declared mankind to be "VERY GOOD", did you?!  You did not know the full PLAN.  This is the PLAN that Father revealed to Ezra. God’s assize has TWO STEPS in two different places.

II Esdras 7:1 When I had finished speaking, the same angel was sent to me as on the 2 previous nights. He said to me, 'Rise to your feet, Ezra, and listen to the 3 message I have come to give you.' 'Speak, my lord', I said. He said to me: 'Imagine a sea set in a vast open space, spreading far 4 5 and wide, but the entrance to it narrow like the gorge of a river. If anyone is determined to reach this sea, whether to set eyes on it or to gain command of it, he cannot arrive at its open waters except through the narrow gorge 6 Or again, imagine a city built in a plain, a city full of everything you can 7 desire, but the entrance to it narrow and steep, with fire to the right and 8 deep water to the left. There is only the one path, between the fire and the 9 water; and that is only wide enough for one man at a time. If some man has been given this city as a legacy, how can he take possession of his inheritance 10 except by passing through these dangerous approaches?' 'That is the only way, my lord', I agreed. 11 He said to me: 'Such is the lot of Israel. It was for Israel that I made the world, and when Adam transgressed my decrees the creation came under 12 judgement. The entrances to this world (STEP-ONE) were made narrow, painful, and 13 arduous, few and evil, full of perils and grinding hardship. But the entrances 14 to the greater world (STEP-TWO, Paradise) are broad and safe, and lead to immortality. All men must therefore enter this narrow and futile existence; otherwise they can 15 never attain the blessings in store.

Numbers 23:18 And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor: 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. 21 He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time (STEP-ONE) are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God (STEP-TWO).

Luke 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Ecclesiastes 4:1 So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter. 2 Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive. 3 Yea, better is he than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

Death or circumcision brings us to STEP TWO in Paradise where the Great Clay Master RE-MAKES his children by removing and repairing their flaws and short-comings exposed in STEP ONE by demonic tools.

Psalm 65:4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts (Paradise): we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house (Heavenly Jerusalem), even of thy holy temple.

Adam did not live one spiritual day (died). He lived 930 years.  That is 70 years short of one spiritual day.

2 Peter 3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The average term that men face devils in STEP ONE is 70 years.  When that time expires, Jesus calls their TRUE GOD-GIVEN NAMES.  They are removed (circumcised) from their clay bodies (die) and fly away to Paradise as REDEEMED SPIRITS.  On average we are not confined in the devil's prison chamber of hell for a long time.  Some babies die in their mother's womb before they completely develop.  These have the shortest period of time in the bottomless pit prison.  Others may live to be 100 years old or more.  These times are all very short of a BIG thousand-year day of spiritual time.  You must keep in mind the Creator's purpose for putting men down here in STEP-ONE.  He is a Scientist.  He is testing His creations.  It is the job and purpose of devils to force us to show our strengths, weaknesses, flaws, and breaking points (which men call SIN) so that they may be corrected in STEP TWO, the perfection phase in Heaven by the Clay Master.  These scriptures explain our HEADLINE song, "Only the GOOD Die (Fly) Young”.

Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here (demons on men, Matthew 12:43-45), which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
