John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

 

How does Father-God find "TRUE WORSHIPPERS"?

 

Isaiah 66:18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

 

Psalms 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. 3 Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. 4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. 5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Each offspring of God is a “smaller container” or cellular “bag” of His ETERNAL LIFE SUBSTANCE, whatever He is!  God made billions and billions of small segments of Himself and He calls us “My children”.  Your pedigree and” birthright” is to acknowledge TRUE PATERNITY.  You are not flesh and blood in reality.  You are a living spirit temporarily confined to fleshy stage-clothes in this life.

 

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

 

Hebrews 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? 7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

 

Deuteronomy 32:40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.

 

It should be counted as a blessing and honor that YOU are a small "PIECE OF GOD"!   God is the sum of all His parts no matter how numerous they are, nor how small in size they may be.

 

Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

 

Because God is IMMORTAL and cannot die, ALL HIS CHILDREN ARE JUST LIKE HIM. 

 

Wisdom of Solomon 2:23 But God created man for immortality, and made him 24 the image of his own eternal self; it was the devil's spite that brought death into the world, and the experience of it is reserved for those who take his side.

 

To “despise your birthright” and claim a mere, weak clay-human as your father, places you in the category of Esau, a very poor role-model!

 

Genesis 25:34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

 

Esau did not know that he was in an “acting–role“ on the Earth-stage.  But YOU have been informed of the glory of your heritage in God.  You need to claim God as your Father and rejoice in your “built-in” IMMORTAL LIFE!  Do not be like Esau, rejoice that you are a living spirit stuck in a clay body but your spirit is ETERNAL … NOW!!

 

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

 

To our dear “Dad”, Creator-God in Heaven, I say, “Happy Father’s Day to you”!  But “TODAY” is Father’s day every 24 hours as the world turns!  Consider it a blessing and an honor to obey and revere Jesus' instructions.
