If You Love Somebody Set Them Free
HEADLINE: a song by Sting: Clearly this song is an expression of the work by Jesus
Christ the Savior. Look at this.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man
lay down his life for his friends.
John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am
known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I
lay down my life for the sheep. 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they
shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
In the Gospel
according to Sting, “if you love somebody, YOU MUST SET THEM FREE”! And Jesus was sent to the earth by our Father
to do just that as a grave robber!
John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is
coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and
they that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath
he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to
execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for
the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his
voice,
Hosea 13:14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave;
I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will
be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to
kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly.
Isaiah 45:13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I
will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my
captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
Isaiah 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou
shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the
preserved of Israel:
I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my
salvation unto the end of the earth. 7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of
Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation
abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also
shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of
Israel, and he shall choose thee. 8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time
have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the
people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the
desolate heritages; 9 That thou
mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in
darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures
shall be in all high places. 10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall
the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them,
even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because
the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim
liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our
God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to
give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of
praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of
righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Luke 4:20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to
the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue
were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath
reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of
reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto
himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us
the word of reconciliation.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he
was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and
with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of
us all.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and
saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
We see Jesus “SETTING FREE ALL HUMAN CAPTIVES” IN ALL
GENERATIONS OF MEN
(1) from SIN,
(2) from sickness and disease,
(3) from death and the grave,
(4) from captivity by demons confined in the bottomless pit,
and
(5) from IGNORACE (darkness) and error.
When Jesus calls each name on the Family Roll (Book of Life),
men on earth with those names RISE UP as REDEEMED SPIRITS to STAND before
Father-God, Mother Zion and the Savior-Son, Jesus Christ at the Throne!
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as
it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave
it.
Romans 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man
dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we
die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the
Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he
might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy
brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand
before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the
Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Ode of Solomomn 42:5 All my persecutors are dead; and they
sought after me who hoped in me, because I was alive: 6 And I rose up and am
with them; and I will speak by their mouths. 7 For they have despised those who
persecuted them; 8 And I lifted up over them the yoke of my love; 9 Like the
arm of the bridegroom over the bride, 10 So was my yoke over those that know
me: 11 And as the couch that is spread in the house of the bridegroom and
bride, 12 So is my love over those that believe in me. 13 And I was not
rejected though I was reckoned to be so. 14 I did not perish, though they
devised it against me. 13 Sheol saw me and was made miserable: 16 Death cast me
up and many along with me. 17 I had gall and bitterness, and I went down with
him to the utmost of his depth: 18 And the feet and the head he let go, for
they were not able to endure my face: 19 And I made a congregation of living
men amongst his dead men, and I spake with them by living lips: 20 Because my
word shall not be void: 21 And those who had died ran towards me: and they
cried and said, Son of God, have pity on us, and do with us according to thy
kindness. 22 And bring us out from the bonds of darkness: and open to us the
door by which we shall come out to thee. 23 For we see that our death has not
touched thee. 24 Let us also be redeemed with thee: for thou art our Redeemer.
25 And I heard their voice; and my name I sealed upon their heads: 26 For they
are free men and they are mine. Hallelujah.
II Esdras 2:34 Therefore I say to you Gentiles, you who hear
and understand: 'Look forward to the coming of your shepherd, and he will give
you everlasting rest; for he who is to come at the end of the world is close at
35 hand. Be ready to receive the rewards of the kingdom; for light perpetual 36
will shine upon you for ever and ever. Flee from the shadow of this world and
receive the joy and splendour that await you. I bear witness openly to 37 my
Saviour. It is he whom the Lord has appointed; receive him and be joyful,
giving thanks to the One who has summoned you to the heavenly 38 realms. Rise,
stand up, and see the whole company of those who bear the 39 Lord's mark and
sit at his table. They have moved out of the shadow of this 40 world and have
received shining robes from the Lord. Receive, O Zion your full number, and
close the roll of those arrayed in white who have 41 faithfully kept the law of
the Lord. The number of your sons whom you so long desired is now complete.
Pray that the Lord's kingdom may come, so that your people, whom he summoned
when the world began, may be set apart as his own.' 42 I, Ezra, saw on Mount Zion
a crowd too large to count, all singing hymns 43 of praise to the Lord. In the
middle stood a very tall young man, taller than all the rest, who was setting a
crown on the head of each one of them; he 44 stood out above them all. I was
enthralled at the sight, and asked the angel 45 'Sir, who are these?' He
replied, 'They are those who have laid aside their mortal dress and put on the
immortal, those who acknowledged the name 46 of God. Now they are being given
crowns and palms. 'And I asked again, 'Who is the young man setting crowns on
their heads and giving them 47 palms?', and the angel replied, 'He is the Son
of God, whom they acknowledged in this mortal life. 'I began to praise those
who had stood so valiantly 48 for the Lord's name. Then the angel said to me:
'Go and tell my people all the great and wonderful acts of the Lord God that
you have seen.'
Isaiah 40:13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or
being his counsellor hath taught him? 14 With whom took he counsel, and who
instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him
knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?
Daniel 4:34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar
lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I
blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever,
whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation
to generation: 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing:
and he
doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of
the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest
thou?
Isaiah 26:12 LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in
us.
You never thought of Sting as a “minister of the gospel” of
Jesus Christ before now. I know I
didn’t! But give credit to Father-God,
who uses His children to do His bidding even if it is a “work by stealth”. He does
not have to “let His left hand know what His right hand is doing” until He is
ready! Look at the lyrics of this song
again. You can see it reflects the work
by the Savior, Jesus Christ. I think I like “Minister Sting” even more today! I can see Father’s handiwork more clearly in
the lives of men on earth! Thank you,
Father-God!! I respectfully say, “Amen”!! You are always “doing great things”!
