GI-ants in the Land
God can tell a story in such amazing ways. Using real life analogies, He tells us the setting and scene for our trial in a place called the earth, which is located in the side of a prison called the “bottomless pit”. In one analogy the earth is like Goshen where Israel dwelt as a nation of slaves to Pharaoh and the Egyptian people. Israel was an allegory for all the children God created. Pharaoh represented Satan, and the Egyptian people symbolized all the powers of darkness. You do get the picture. Now let us go to another story.
When Moses delivered the Israelites from Egypt they journeyed forty or so years before reaching a symbolic “promise land”. This is not the true promise land which is Heaven itself, but areas of what is called Palestine a few miles from Egypt. The trouble is Israel had to fight to conquer the original inhabitants of the land in order to possess “the land which the Lord God giveth thee”. This was both challenging and intimidating because there were GIANTS living in the land. A giant is a HUGE MAN such as Goliath was. We have seen TV commercials featuring the “Jolly Green Giant” in vegetable commercials. There is also the giant pictured in the fairy-tale of “Jack and the Beanstalk”. Here is one description from the Bible.

The earth is in the sides of the prison and holding-chamber into which God cast rebel demons and evil spirit down from Heaven. Humans are not allowed to see them falling through all that is solid matter to men. So to reveal them to certain wise men in time, God used the living allegory of Joshua, Caleb and the children of Israel entering and conquering the symbolic “promise land” of Palestine. We just looked at how the spies described the human giants they saw in the land. But the giants they depicted are the direct opposite when it comes to physical size. What is really big is the power and influence they have over the thoughts and actions of men.
The GIANTS are references for demons, the evil spirit tares imprisoned in this pit-prison of spiritual Egypt. They are really “GI” ants, the Ground Infantry troops of the kingdom of devils that WAR against God and mankind. All of you have seen insect “ants”. In size they are very tiny, some less than ¼ of an inch. Demonic GI -ants are the very opposite of the description of the giants Joshua and Caleb encountered in the flesh. As far as height goes, the huge giants are no more. The closest to them today would be the African Watusis, among whom 7-footers are common. The shortest men known are the hobbits and dwarfs among us. The ANT moniker applies realistically when it comes to devils. However, their influence on human conduct and thought is HUGE. Here is how God tells the true condition of the physical size of devils.

The clefts of the rocks are human body cavities where men are “lively stones”, 1 Peter 2:5, and the stars in question are the children of men, God’s grounded stars, Genesis 22:14-18.
God has shown me personally in dream-visions that devils are 5 or 6 inches tall. This is the only way one, seven, or a legion (about 600) of devils can board and control one human body. See Matthew 12:43-45, and Matthew 8:28-33. When God showed me this, I had to laugh when I thought about some 6-inch tiny “midget monster” huffing and puffing at me trying to get me to obey him. But the reality of the human situation with devils is not that simple. It is not a laughing matter! What makes devil’s influence over men SO HUGE is that the human brain (mind) is like a video-camera to them. Devils can project their voices and thoughts into us, and our minds record them like a video-cam. We see and hear these as night-dreams and visions, and as day dreams and idle musings. There was no such thing as a video-cam in Ezekiel’s day, so God revealed this capability in his day as writings and pictures on the temple (human body) walls, Ezekiel 8:7-12. The “chambers of imagery” in the text refer to the human mind (movie screen). Men tend to “follow their mind” and believe “my own thoughts”, while unaware that devils (GI-ants) are WARRING with us and misleading men.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness (devils) in high places (crowning our heads).

The Word of God is to be our yardstick and tape measure. This goes for all ideas that pop into our heads as well as dreams and visions used to mislead men.

They are tiny midget demons, who exercise HUGE CONTROL over men by managing what men believe are “my thoughts” that originate from our personal “crown of thorns” (demons). Every man of flesh and blood wears such a crown in personal crucifixion, and these devils simply refuse to “Let my people go”! Their thoughts cross us up and double cross us to make errors and to fall into mental traps. Blessed are all those who follow their “good angels” (crown of life) and win the battle over their souls in this life!
